Family facts about Orlando holidays

Hello...we would like to introduce ourselves and tell you a little about our travels and adventures over the last eleven years to Central Florida! We are the Philp family from the UK who love to travel to Orlando and its surrounding areas.

My name is David (the quiet one?) who loves everything regarding Orlando and Florida. Experienced taxi driver and map reader, plus a great cocktail waiter 'Tom Cruise eat your heart out'.

Also my beautiful wife & mother Denise, guaranteed Disney expert...'Mickey and Tigger's favorite fan'...No 1 planner and time keeper...also love's the odd Rum runner now and again.

Excitable Grandma Jean...number two fan and 'stay there you lot I must have another photo'.

Also Grandad Lance..."Where's that War Bird museum and get me down to Old Town Kissimmee I need to purchase my 20th baseball cap and watch the 50's & 60's drive through". Sadly and suddenly passed away November 2009. Missed by all the family.

Finally, our three 'wonderful' children (that's suspect at times). Stuart...professional thrill seeker and "It's about time I whooped you at golf Dad". Charlotte..."It's so unfair because I'm 20 and can't drink out here" backs up her big brother on the rides.

And last but not least James...let's not forget James, 14 going on 40. Expert on everything, "Teenagers rock and don't you lot forget it".

Well that's the intro's done onto the sensible stuff...personally I've been travelling to Florida since 1977 (Day's served in the Royal Navy) and travelled up and down the West (Gulf) coast, East coast, Florida Keys and beyond, and seen this part of Central Florida grow beyond recognition.

As the Philp family, we've been travelling from the UK regularly since 1996, when James was only three years old. What we would like to share with you is supplying helpful content and recommendations based on our family knowledge throughout our website www.sunkissed-orlando-holidays.com regarding all aspects to planning your Orlando holidays.

Creating our site!

When looking to create this website about Orlando holidays, we researched the Internet, Search engines, Directories etc. Realised there is thousands of sales sites on Orlando but not too many on straight forward personal content.

So, with that in mind 'Eureka moment' we started to put this site collectively together, regarding all the initial pre-planning, through to arriving in Orlando and beyond, in stages we hope you find helpful and beneficial, especially first time families working on a specific budget.

We know through our experiences working on a 'tight budget', what financial groundwork (pre-planning) has to be taken into consideration for all your holiday expenses. If there is no budget worries, still check us out, you might find some useful information regarding your planning, accommodation, flights, car rental, dinning out, theme parks etc.
