The center is located due east of Orlando, and directions to Kennedy Space Center are easy to find. If your driving to Cape Canaveral from Orlando or Kissimmee, depending on the time of year (High season) and what part of Orlando you're coming from, this should take you around 1-1½ hrs, check opening times, before you leave your home town.
