Hal Scott Preserve Florida!
Located 30 Miles East Of Universal Studios!
Located some 25 miles east of all the theme parks, this preserve deserves a mention as
long as you have transport to get there.
A popular area for biking, horse riding and fishing fanatics, with vast prairies to discover and the
free flowing Econlockhatchee River and its historic crossing to explore, Hall Scott is a
popular park for tourists and local residents to visit all year round.
The preserve is popular for its wildlife and grasslands, which bring photographers many
miles to visit. Many trails are available for horse riding and biking, plus walking trails
lead you off to the wilderness and beyond. 'Don't worry all trails are signposted so you
won't get lost' If you fancy a spot of fishing a reclaimed phosphate pit has been turned
into a fishing pond.
If you fancy camping out for the night, a rough campsite is available (No R.V's) for you
hardy outdoor types, take a look at the links below for further details. A huge parking
area is available when you enter the preserve, so no worries about overcrowding.
