Lake
Kissimmee Park was opened to the public in 1977, and since then the park has increased
to over 6,000 acres. The Ranger Station is the first place many visitors stop and meet park
staff. Lake Kissimmee State Park's original Ranger Station is still in use today after
going through a complete makeover.
The park is open daily from 8:00am till sunset all year round. See links below for

Activities include, canoeing, kayaking, boating, fishing, camping,
wildlife watching, nature trails, horse riding, picnic areas, playground and rest
room facilities.

Entrance Fees (2011): $5.00 per vehicle 2-8 people per vehicle...$4.00 single occupant
vehicle...$2.00 pedestrians, bicyclists etc...$4.00 per hour, canoe rental.

Camping Fees: $20.00 per night, plus tax. Includes water and electricity. 50%
discount for floridian residents 65 or over. $5.00 per person, per night: primitiive
camping. $1.00 per youth, per night: youth camping. $5.00 per adult/chaperone, per night:
youth camping.

Boating (Boat ramp available), Fishing, Canoeing & Kayaking, Hiking &
Wildlife Viewing.

Picnic area, Restroom Facilities, Playground, Pets allowed but kept on a leash.
