The Ranger Station is the first place many visitors stop and meet park staff. Lake Kissimmee State Park's original Ranger Station is still in use today after going through a complete makeover.

The park is open daily from 8:00am till sunset all year round. See links below for further details.

Activities include, canoeing, kayaking, boating, fishing, camping, wildlife watching, nature trails, horse riding, picnic areas, playground and rest room facilities.

General Information & Amenities:

  • Park Hours: 8 am - Until sunset (365 days a year)

  • Entrance Fees (2011): $5.00 per vehicle 2-8 people per vehicle...$4.00 single occupant vehicle...$2.00 pedestrians, bicyclists etc...$4.00 per hour, canoe rental.

  • Camping Fees: $20.00 per night, plus tax. Includes water and electricity. 50% discount for floridian residents 65 or over. $5.00 per person, per night: primitiive camping. $1.00 per youth, per night: youth camping. $5.00 per adult/chaperone, per night: youth camping.

  • Boating (Boat ramp available), Fishing, Canoeing & Kayaking, Hiking & Wildlife Viewing.

  • Picnic area, Restroom Facilities, Playground, Pets allowed but kept on a leash.

This is a popular venue with tourist's and locals. Located around a 1hr drive from Orlando, vehicles are required.
