Southport Community Park Orlando!
Located West Of Orlando International Airport!
Located
south east of Orlando, on a former US Navy leisure facility next to Southport villages
community, this 52 acre park has been transformed into a multiple sports field and
recreation area for the local population and tourists alike who fancy a few hours
away from the major theme parks.
We found the park by mistake one day while exploring the local area and it's
always remained a place for us to wind down for a few hours.
With activities like baseball, softball pitches, basketball & volleyball courts and
a fitness course, there's enough for the keep fit fans to be entertained for a few hours.
If you prefer a more relaxed time walking trails, picnic area and pavilions will allow you
to charge those batteries before the next theme park blitz.
With its close proximity to Orlando the park is busy throughout the summer season, so if
you require to book ahead for the sport activities etc. We advise to phone the park in
advance to hold your reservation. See links below for further information regarding all
the park facilities.
