Here's a brief description of the three Universal hotels situated in Universal
Orlando. You'll also find our recommended website for more specific information to help
you make an informed choice.
Loews Portofino Hotel:
Italy
in the heart of Florida! The Portofino Hotel is a carbon copy of the beautiful Italian
fishing village of Portofino.
Just a short walk from Universal's attractions, the resort hotel features quaint
cobblestone streets and relaxed sidewalk cafes.
You'll swear you're in a real Italian seaside resort village.
There are 750 rooms, 45 suites and many amenities for the whole family to enjoy. Take
a break from the heat and hit the pools. The Beach pool, Villa Pool and Hillside pool
provide hours of fun in the sun for the kids and yourselves.
Loews Royal Pacific Resort:
You may
think you're in the paradise of the South Pacific rather than in the middle of a
Universal Orlando resort when you stay here.
There are 1000 rooms. Each has a king-size bed or two queens. (Heh, just
think big beds.)
All rooms are air-conditioned with standard TV and telephone, minibar, bath,
shower, iron boards and in-room safe.
You'll have a choice of two restaurants and three bars (yummy), a
fantastic swimming pool area, fitness studio and car park (local charges - check
first). Another great thing about this place is the supervised children's program.
You parents can chill out and top up that tan while the kids have their own fun.
Hard Rock Hotel:
Set
within the Universal Orlando resort and just a few minutes walk from the main gate at
Universal studios, this place embodies the spirit of 'Rock and Roll'.
It's perfect if you want to stay close to the theme parks, bars, restaurants and
busy nightlife of CityWalk.
All 650 rooms have air-conditioning and queen-size beds as well as TVs, bath,
showers, fridges, garden views, telephones and room safes.
You'll also find a cool swimming pool with underwater sound system,
four styles of restaurants and bars, gift shops and supervised children's programs.
